These plants are great for those who need good smoke to grow in a discrete area for many reasons such as:
The marijuana seeds I got from All Pot Seeds last year and this my first experience with the Lowrider strain. I had heard a lot from others who grew it but couldn't wait to get them germed out and in some soil. Every seed I recieved germinated out and they went into some Miracle Grow Organic soil with a cup of worm castings mixed in with some native soil to prepare them for their future home. This would carry them for the next 6 weeks with nothing else but water. After 6 weeks of growing I had 10 nice 5 to 8 inch tall seedlings that were now ready to be planted in their final grow plot. They were transplanted to their outdoor grow spot and eventually grew into full sized, albeit they were only 14 inches tall at harvest, but loaded with ripe buds. 4 of them had to tied upright due to the weight from the fruit. I transplanted them in last week of May and kept tabs on them during the summer. These plants were tough and even the southern US thunderstoms didn't affect them as was the case when I grew other strains in the past. Once during this grow we had some strong winds blow through during the summer thunderstorms but these tough gals stayed intact. All but a couple of plants that were the victims of blowing debris from ground brush into them, the other 8 faired really well. I was surprised.
This strain really won me over for many reasons but the main one was that the Ganja Dwarf/Lowrider cannabis seeds germed 100% which is typical with the fresh seeds I always get from All Pot Seeds as well as the fact that these plants turned out to live up to their tough reputation as I had been told about. I actually got 7 females with just one male out of 10 seeds. For a pack of 10 marijuana seeds with 2 falling victim to the weather and one male, thats pretty damn good in my opinion! The smoke is really nice and has a spicy yet smooth taste if you cure it well. Patience is the key here for this strain. The smell of the buds as they cure is amazing, if only they made an air freshner that smelled like that! When you first notice the buds on the plants they are really well defined and you know exactly WHAT they are, so there is no guessing with this strain. After a few weeks into budding I took a sample from a lower branch off one of the bigger plants. At this stage the bud was just at the halfway stage (maybe a little more) and the effect was just well....Nice! I did dry out my sample by hanging it in my barn which on the second floor during the summer is about 90+ degrees for three days.
During the final harvest each plant was harvested in full then hung upside down for a full week. The full harvest was placed into a homemade tumbler I made myself with the temp kept around 85 degrees. 3 days later it was good to go. The Ganja Dwarf Lowrider strain is a MUST HAVE if you want to finish up earlier before the rest of your plants. These girls will be done as mine were, in 10 weeks. After you place them in soil when they are about 5 to 8 inches tall. They finish early and are great for those who are a little impatient waiting on the typical grow times. I'd reccommend that once you grow these cannabis seeds and your plants are about halfway or less completed, germ additional plants and this way you'll get to harvest more about the time your stash is running low. I did this and for once I timed it just right. The second plants were harvested in late October and did not dissappoint.
